My new holiday song “Christmas (I Think I’m Gonna Be Sad)” is here. It is my first holiday song in nine years. Musically, it is an upbeat power-pop rock and roll tune. Lyrically, the song is for those people who might be having a more difficult time during this normally joyful time of year. My friend Nathan Hedges played lead guitar and bass and Pablo Cabrera provided drums. I had a blast doing all the vocals stacking on layer after layer.
